Academics
Our Programs
First Phase Core Academy provides personalized academic programs for students from Preschool through 12th grade. Our approach combines standards-based instruction, small-group learning, individualized academic support, and technology-integrated education to meet students at their current level while helping them build the skills, confidence, and independence needed for continued growth.
Whether students are strengthening foundational skills, advancing academically, or preparing for college and career pathways, FPCA provides a supportive learning environment designed around the needs of the whole student.
A Core-Focused, Whole-Child Approach to Lifelong Learning
At FPCA, academic growth begins with understanding the learner behind the work. We consider each student’s strengths, learning needs, pace, confidence, independence, and personal development when shaping their educational experience.
Students are encouraged not only to master academic skills, but to ask questions, solve problems, communicate effectively, build healthy learning habits, and take greater ownership of their education. These skills help prepare students for success in the classroom—and for the responsibilities and opportunities that come after it.

PRESCHOOL • AGES 3–4
Building Strong Foundations
Early learners develop foundational skills through engaging, age-appropriate experiences in early literacy, number sense, communication, social-emotional development, motor skills, and school readiness.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL • GRADES K–5
Strengthening the Core
Students in Grades K–5 build strong academic foundations in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies through engaging, standards-based instruction.
Our elementary program encourages students to think critically, communicate confidently, solve problems, and become increasingly independent learners while receiving the individualized support they need to grow.

MIDDLE SCHOOL • GRADES 6–8
Building Independence & Confidence
Students in Grades 6–8 deepen their knowledge across English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies while developing the organization, responsibility, and critical-thinking skills needed for more advanced learning.
Our middle school program combines standards-based academics, individualized support, technology-integrated learning, and executive-functioning development to help students become more confident, independent learners as they prepare for high school.

HIGH SCHOOL • GRADES 9–12
Preparing for the Future
Students in Grades 9–12 work toward academic achievement, graduation readiness, and greater independence through rigorous, standards-based coursework designed to prepare them for life beyond high school.
Our high school program combines personalized academic pathways, technology-integrated learning, executive-functioning skills, leadership development, and college and career readiness to help students identify their goals, take ownership of their education, and confidently prepare for their next phase.
